Orlando, FL-Update: Authorities have revised the number of people killed in the Orlando nightclub shooting to 49 and say the original number of 50 included the shooter. The City of Orlando has started releasing the names of the victims in the shooting at a nightclub early Sunday. The link to the blog site where information is posted is here. An interfaith gathering is set for tonight (Monday night) at Daytona Beach Police HQ at 129 Valor Boulevard. Officials say it's to pray for victims, first responders and community unity. The event is at 7PM. The FBI asking for anyone who knew the suspect to call 1-800-CALL-FBI. Earlier reporting: At least 50 people are dead and scores more wounded after an early morning nightclub shooting at an LGBT club called Pulse in Orlando. In remarks today at the White House, President Obama said he had reached out to talk with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer. He told the press, "We stand with the people of Orlando" and called the shooting, "An act of terror and of hate". Governor Rick Scott declared a state of emergency. NBC News reporting a law enforcement official says the gunman, 29-year-old Omar Mateen, called 911 moments before the shooting and pledged allegiance to the leader of ISIS. Mateen is from Fort Pierce. The shooting was only blocks from Orlando Regional Medical Center. Police are treating the shooting as a "domestic act of terrorism" and say police killed the gunman when they freed hostages he was holding inside the club.
