Oak Hill Hunter Who Shot & Killed Friend In 2016 Turns Himself In After Indictment

Oak Hill, FL - The hunter who shot and killed his friend in 2016 near Oak Hill turned himself in on Wednesday, a day after a grand jury indicted him on a manslaughter charge. Leeshawn Sutton, 58, is being held at the Volusia County Jail on a $50,000 bond for the manslaughter charge and an additional $100 bond for a hunting violation. According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, Sutton shot and killed 65-year-old Bruce Best with a 12-gauge shotgun in a wooded, swampy area west of I-95 and north of Maytown Rd. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016.
