NSB Sex Offender Arrested For Probation Violation; Child Porn Found On His Phone

New Smyrna Beach, FL - A registered sex offender from New Smyrna Beach, who was arrested for violation of probation earlier this month, is now facing additional charges after Volusia County Sheriff's Office (VCSO) said child pornography was found on his cell phone. 57-year-old Glenn Warren was arrested on February 1 after a Probation and Parole officer reported that Warren had accounts on Gmail and Grindr that were not registered with the Department of Corrections. Because of his status as a sex offender, Warren is required to register those types of accounts. Deputies say they discovered that Warren had posted explicit photos of his genitalia on Grindr. During an investigation, VCSO says a Probation and Parole officer found Warren's cell phone as they searched his vehicle. A forensic investigation uncovered several images of child pornography on the phone. The investigation is ongoing. Warren had been held in custody without bond earlier this month, and he is charged with violation of probation in reference to his original charge from 2006 of two counts possession of child pornography.
