NSB City Hall Closed For Renovation; Services Temporarily Relocated

New Smyrna Beach, FL – The renovation of the New Smyrna Beach City Hall is underway and services typically offered there are being relocated through July.

New Smyrna Beach beach lot parking passes are being issued at the Leisure Services Department at 1000 Live Oak St.

Garage sale permits and pet licenses are being issued at the Planning, Engineering and Building Department offices at 2650 N. Dixie Freeway.

New Smyrna Beach business tax receipts can be obtained by calling 386-424-2126.

Animal Control, Building, code Enforcement, Planning and Engineering departments are conducting normal business at the 2650 N. Dixie Freeway location.

The interior renovation started on June 30. Capital Projects Manager Michelle Vallance says the renovation is addressing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. The roof and AC systems are also being replaced. The estimated cost of the 10-week renovation is $588,000. The structure was built back in 1941.
