Palm Coast, FL- Students and families of Matanzas High School in Palm Coast should take some time before school begins to learn the new traffic patterns in the school area. Flagler County Schools Community Information Specialist Jason Wheeler said many roads have changed recently around the high school. With the city of Palm Coast removing access to Old Kings Road North, Wheeler said that a fence and gate will be installed on the Forest Grove Drive side of the school. The gate would only be accessible by emergency and school personnel. New signs and temporary message boards will be used to notify drivers of the traffic patterns. Wheeler said with new traffic signals and all the construction in the last few months, people should get familiar with the area before school begins on August 10.
