Daytona Beach, FL-The Daytona Beach City Commission is expected to approve a resolution on Wednesday evening to award a contract to evaluate the acoustics and design a new sound system at The Peabody Auditorium. The building is currently without a working sound system, which limits the number of theatrical and musical events.

A contract in the amount of $37,284 is on the agenda to be awarded to Edward Dugger and Associates, P.A.

The money for the sound system comes from the Cultural Services Fund.
