New Smyrna Beach Opens Debris Drop-Off Site For Residents

New Smyrna Beach, FL – The City of New Smyrna Beach is now offering a citizen debris drop-off site for those residents who need to get rid of their debris after Hurricane Irma.

This debris drop-off site is for City of New Smyrna Beach residents only and is located at 1294 Industrial Park Ave. in New Smyrna Beach. It’s open daily until Friday, October 6 from 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM.

Below is what you need to know if you plan on using the site:

  • Residents will have to unload their own debris.
  • A driver’s license or utility bill will be required to show proof of residency.
  • Resident MUST be present (in the vehicle).
  • Personal vehicles and trailers are allowed.
  • No commercial vehicles, commercial trailers, or debris generated from commercial establishments will be allowed to use the citizen’s drop off.

There is a separate area for the recycling of sandbags.
