New Smyrna Beach Man Stabbed In Attempted Robbery

New Smyrna Beach, FL-A 25-year-old man was stabbed early today in New Smyrna Beach in an armed robbery according to police. Around 3:48 AM Knese Tousaunnt was stabbed in the area of his collarbone outside 200 Robert Street in the robbery police say. The victim told police two white males had tried to get money from him and the victim was stabbed when he told them he didn't have any money. One of the white males was described as tall and skinny. The suspects fled on foot. The victim was transported as a trauma alert by EVAC to Halifax Hospital. Police say, however, that it appears his wounds are not life-threatening. Police are asking for the public’s help with identifying these two subjects and anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Nikki Diffin or Beverly Alvarez-Daly at the New Smyrna Beach Police Department or Crime Stoppers toll-free, at (888) 277-TIPS (8477).
