Gov. Scott Announces New Jobs Coming To Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach, FL - Florida's governor made a quick stop in Daytona Beach on Monday to talk about business expansion and new jobs. Rick Scott flew into Daytona International Airport to congratulate B. Braun Medical Inc., U.S. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Caroll H. Neubauer and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Bruce Heugel on a $100 million business expansion. Heugel said the expansion will take some time but when it's done, more than 175 jobs will be created with an average annual salary of $41,000.

The company plans to expand the Gambro plant at 1845  Mason Avenue. B. Braun plans to build its second intravenous solutions plant in Daytona Beach.
