Daytona Beach, FL-New Daytona International Speedway President Chip Wile was all smiles Tuesday as he met the press for the first time outside the track.
Wile observed, "When I flew in on Sunday night and saw the speedway...I realized I'm not going home. This is my home now."
Wile praised the job done by outgoing DIS chief Joie Chitwood III who has been promoted into the ISC hierarchy. Wile was most recently the president of Darlington Raceway.
Wile is 36.
