New Census Stats Say Local Population Continues To Grow

Daytona Beach, FL-New numbers from the U.S. Census show the population of Volusia County grew by just over 10,000 people between July 2014 and the latest numbers released for July 2015. The latest county population estimate is 517,887.

Back in April 2010, the county population in the U.S. Census was 494,593.

In Flagler County, the U.S. Census latest population estimate as of July 2015 is 105,392. In 2014, that estimate was 102,408. In 2010, that estimate was 95,696.

The population percentage change for Flagler in the decade between April 2010 and July 2015 is 10.1%.

For Volusia County, that figure is 4.7%.
