DeBary, FL-Deputies have notified DCF after a 4-year-old nearly drowned in a pool in DeBary Sunday. Deputies went to Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford where the boy was taken. The mother told them she left her children unattended at the home at 409 Greenridge Court for a short time and the boy fell in. His older brother pulled him out and the child vomited. Emergency personnel arrived and determined the child needed further treatment. The child was taken to the ER via EVAC.
He was transferred to Arnold Palmer Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. The incident happened just after 3PM Sunday.
Deputies have forwarded the report to DCF.
