NASCAR Foundation Donors Rappel Down 102-Ft Building In Daytona For Fundraiser

Daytona Beach, FL – Several VIPs rappelled down the 8-story International Motorsports Center in Daytona Beach on Thursday to raise money for the “Over the Edge At ONE DAYTONA” fundraising campaign. Hosted by the NASCAR Foundation and Easterseals Northeast Central Florida, the fundraising campaign will go on for three consecutive days. Lesa France Kennedy, International Speedway Corporation CEO/NASCAR Vice Chairperson, and Rusty Wallace, former Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion, were the first to rappel down the 102-foot building.

Through Saturday, many more donors will take their turns at rappelling down the International Motorsports Center. Footage of the first day can be found here.
