Motorcyclist Killed In Osteen After Driving Into Median And Flipping Bike

Osteen, FLUpdate: The motorcyclist killed on Tuesday night after his bike flipped has been identified as 58-year-old William Henderson Jr. of Osteen.

A motorcyclist was killed on Tuesday night when he drove into the median and flipped his bike in Osteen.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 58-year-old man was heading north on State Road 415 on a 2005 HD motorcycle around 11:15 PM when he drove into the median near Reed Ellis Rd for an unknown reason. The motorcycle overturned and the man was ejected.

The medical examiner pronounced him dead at the scene and the crash is still under investigation. FHP says the man wasn't wearing a helmet and it's not known at this point if the crash was alcohol-related.

The man's name hasn't been released at this point.
