Motorcyclist Dead After Crashing Into Another Bike At A Daytona Intersection

Daytona Beach, FL - A motorcyclist is dead after he crashed into another motorcycle who was turning off the road.

At Around 2 Am on Saturday, Daytona Beach Police responded to a crash at the intersection of Clyde Morris Blvd. and Georgetown Blvd. The surviving motorcyclist told police that both he and the other driver were heading south on Clyde Morris. The man, Keith Bruce, said that he slowed down to turn onto Georgetown Blvd. when Douglas Leger crashed into him from behind.

Leger fell off of his motorcycle and severely injured his head. Police found that Leger was not wearing a helmet and they pronounced him dead at the scene. Leger is believed to have been at fault for the crash. The investigation is ongoing, but no additional details are available.
