Monthly Business Training For Entrepreneurs & Small Business Owners

DeLand, FL - Creating Jobs, Inc. is leading a monthly program based on their 300-page business training curriculum, "GrowBook: 24 Essential Drivers of Small Business Success."

With support from the City of DeLand and the DeLand Chamber of Commerce, Creating Jobs, Inc. will host the second session of 'Accelerate' which will cover chapter 2 of GrowBook on Feb. 22. The curriculum of "Set the Course" aims to educate existing and aspiring entrepreneurs on how to craft and use foundational documents, as well as how to define and direct a business.

Deidra Jacobs-Manning and Evan Keller, local entrepreneurs who have each built multi-million dollar businesses in Volusia County, will lead the seminar. Jacobs-Manning is CEO of SAAFE Behavioral Services, Inc. Evan Keller is founder and CEO of Tree Work Now, Inc. and Creating Jobs, Inc. Keller is also the primary author of GrowBook.

Individual and group coaching will take place following the presentation portion of the seminar. Coaches include: Mario Davis, Andy Sistrunk, Jason Jurss, Nancy Benet, Inez Benet, Vernon Moore and John Meyer.

Accelerate will meet every fourth Wednesday in 2017, beginning at 5:30 p.m. February 22, DeLand City Hall, 120 South Florida Avenue. Admission is $10 for each seminar and includes a light meal, as well as coaching from seasoned entrepreneurs.
