Volusia County, FL-FHP says charges are pending in a two-car accident Sunday afternoon on I-4 EB that killed a Missouri couple and hospitalized their two children.

Troopers say two vehicles were both eastbound around 12:30 PM when one driven by a North Carolina man drifted into the lane where the couple’s vehicle was traveling, hitting it and sending it off the roadway and into a tree.

40-year-old Greg Moyers and 39-year-old Sarah Moyers died. Two children in the vehicle, a 13-year-old and an 8-year-old, were hospitalized. The older girl is in critical condition and the younger in serious condition at Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital.

The driver of the other vehicle is identified as 43-year-old Charles King of New London, NC. He was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.

It closed the interstate at MM 121 for hours Sunday afternoon.
