UPDATE (03-09-19): Skylah was found in Orlando this afternoon. Her parents are now in custody.

Edgewater, FL - A statewide alert is out for a 4-month-old baby whose parents are disobeying a court order to turn her over to the Florida Department of Children & Families.

That's the word from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office as deputies and officers continue the search for Skylah Singleton (above) and her parents, 18-year-old Chloe Wall (below, top right) and 26-year-old Elliot Singleton III (below, bottom right).

41-year-old Jennifer Wall (below) - Chloe's mother and Skylah's grandmother - was arrested around 4 o'clock this morning (March 9th) for lying to investigators, concealing the location of the child and for marijuana possession under 20 grams. She's now at Volusia County Jail on $10,500 bond.

VCSO spokesperson Andrew Gant says the baby and her parents haven't been seen since Wall and Singleton were both released from Volusia County Jail on Tuesday (March 5th).

"Edgewater police arrested Wall on drug possession charges around 2 a.m. Tuesday," Gant added. "Singleton was also arrested on charges of resisting without violence."

VCJ records show Wall was also charged with resisting an officer as well as two counts of drug possession.

According to VCSO, the Edgewater Police Department discovered prescription pills and a device used to smoke crack cocaine in a vehicle that Wall and Singleton were using when they were arrested. The baby was also found inside that vehicle, per Gant.

"Wall is believed to have a history of drug abuse," Gant noted. "Skylah tested positive for the presence of drugs in her system immediately after she was born."

Based on the recent arrests, DCF officials decided to take the child into their custody, and the parents fled the Edgewater area with the baby soon after they were notified, according to Gant.

"The family did not cooperate with DCF," Gant stated. "On Thursday evening, DCF contacted the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office and filed a missing person report. The Sheriff’s Office has been working since then to locate Skylah."

Investigators think the elder Wall - a Deltona resident - drove her daughter and granddaughter to Orlando and bought them supplies to travel out of state, possibly to New York.

Authorities say the family may be in a white 2007 Cadillac DTS with a New York tag of FBW 1838. Anyone who sees them is asked to call 911 immediately.

Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood has scheduled a press conference this afternoon to release more information on the case. This article will be updated if that happens.
