Update: The man found dead in the Deltona pond has been identified as 78-year-old William Patrick Leonard of Deltona, and his closest family member has been notified of his death.

A dead body has been found in a pond behind a condominium in Deltona.
Volusia County Sheriff's Office (VCSO) deputies responded to a call around 10 AM Monday morning regarding a dead man's body. The caller said that a man seeming to be in his 80s or 90s was floating in a pond behind the Sunset Gardens Condominiums at 585 Belltower Ave.
The VCSO says that at this time there are no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances. The investigation is ongoing and the name of the man will not be released until he is identified and his family is notified.
