DeLand, FLUpdate:  The man who showed up at a DeLand hospital on Monday morning with multiple gunshot wounds has been identified as 44-year-old Daniel Garcia Agosto of Deltona, and he has been released from a local hospital.

Earlier Reporting: The man who showed up at a DeLand hospital with multiple gunshot wounds was airlifted to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach.

Authorities say his injuries aren't considered life threatening and he's listed in stable condition. Police are still trying to identify the man and figure out where the shooting happened.

The investigation is ongoing and officials say details will be released when they become available.

Police are still investigating after a 44-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds showed up at a DeLand hospital.

At about 11:40 AM on Monday, police responded to a call at Florida Hospital DeLand. A man had been shot multiple times and suffered from severe wounds. He was airlifted to the hospital by Volusia County Sheriff’s Office Air-One, according to police.

Detectives are trying to determine where the shooting occurred. The extent of the man's injuries are still unknown, and the investigation is ongoing. More information will be released as it becomes available.
