Man Wearing Batman Mask Robs Kangaroo Express On Granada

Ormond Beach, FL – Police in Ormond are looking for the suspect who robbed the Kangaroo Express on Granada Blvd with a steak knife while wearing a Batman mask.

Police were called to the store at 1520 W Granada Blvd at around 2:30 AM on Wednesday, December 14, about an armed robbery.

When officers arrived on scene the clerk told them an unknown man came into the store wearing the Batman mask and carrying a large steak knife. He went up to the clerk and said, “give me all of your money, I don’t want to hurt you.” The clerk then took the money out of the register and gave it to the suspect, who fled the scene heading westbound.

Police searched for the suspect but couldn’t find him.
