DeLand, FL - According to DeLand Police, the man that raped a disabled student at her Stetson University dorm room in February has been arrested.
On February 12, 23-year-old Orlando man, Jesus Castillo-Garcia, met with the student at her dorm room to watch a movie after meeting online. Castillo-Garcia forced himself upon the student, tried to make her shower after he sexually assaulted her and left.
The student then called the police, who were able to collect the evidence that eventually lead to Castillo-Garcia's arrest on Tuesday, July 11.
