Man Shot To Death In Vehicle Near Derbyshire Park In Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach, FL-Police in Daytona Beach say a 24-year-old man was shot to death in a vehicle last night on Lewis Drive. That location is near Derbyshire Park. The shooting reported just before 9:15 PM.
Police arriving at the scene at 1017 Lewis Drive found a large crowd surrounding a vehicle. The victim was inside the vehicle in the driver's seat.
Police identify the victim as Bashawn Johnson. A man who said he was Johnson's brother told police he was standing by the side of the car when a black vehicle pulled up and a man got out and started shooting toward the victim.
The black male suspect was seen leaving the area in a black Dodge Challenger or Charger with a dented fender.
Johnson was taken to Halifax Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
