Daytona Beach, FL-Police in Daytona Beach say a man was shot in the leg early today during a home invasion on Reva Street. That happened just before 4 AM. Police went to the home at 222 Reva Street and found the victim, identified as 28-year-old Derrell Robinson, on the front steps. He had blood running down his leg and a bump on the forehead. He told police an unknown person had forced open the front door, demanded money from him and then shot him. He heard one gunshot. He told police he had been sleeping at the time of the forced entry. He told police he thought the crime could have happened because he had been involved in dealing narcotics in the past, but told officers he no longer was involved in that. He told police he had been shot in the past due to that involvement. Robinson was transported to the hospital by EVAC and treated for non-life threatening wounds.   2016 Southern Stone Communications Copyright
