Man In Palm Coast Arrested For Home Burglary, Admits To Other Burglaries

Palm Coast, FL - A man who was arrested for trying to rob a home in Palm Coast on Monday admitted to committing other burglaries near the same area. Andrew Thomas Croswell, age 29, was booked into the Flagler County Detention Facility on Monday after deputies responded to a residential burglary around 11:32 AM on Brian Ln. Deputies say the resident was at home at the time and that the resident confronted Croswell when he attempted to enter the home. Croswell was later spotted jumping a fence leading to Extra Space Storage in Palm Coast. Soon after that, Croswell was taken into custody after being located in the area of the Latin Market and Bakery at 300 Palm Coast Parkway. While he was in custody, Croswell admitted to other burglaries off of Bridgehaven Dr. He faces charges of criminal mischief and burglary. "Deputies had this guy in custody within 15 minutes of receiving the 911 call. The prompt action of our deputies allowed us to find him and take him to custody," says Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. "Detectives are now working to identify other potential victims." Deputies believe Croswell committed other burglaries by entering through the backs of homes, stealing small items and possibly food. Deputies are telling anyone in the area who believes their home or vehicle was burglarized to call Flagler County Sheriff's Office at 386-313-4911.
