Daytona Beach, FL - A victim who was attacked at the Volusia Mall tells police that he doesn't want to press charges against his attackers.

That's according to Daytona Beach police, following an attack that took place over the weekend.

The report from DBPD says that the attack happened just before 4 p.m. on Saturday (April 20th). The victim, who owns a shirt shop in the mall, got into a verbal altercation with a group of unknown males over pricing and wait times.

During their argument, one of the men spit in his face then left the area.

A few moments later, a large group of males returned to the store and began to attack the vendor, striking him multiple times in the face and neck area, causing injuries.

He was found by police in the bathroom following the attack as he tended to his facial wounds.

While police investigated, the victim told police he did not want to press charges or complete a written statement.
