Main Street Bridge In Daytona To Close Temporarily To Allow For Construction

Daytona Beach, FL - The Main Street Bridge in Daytona Beach will be closed to traffic on Tuesday to accommodate the installation of fender pilings underneath the bridge. According to a news release from Volusia County, the bridge will be closed to vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic from 8 AM to 5 PM on Tuesday, December 12. The bridge will be left in the open position to accommodate the pile driving and to allow marine traffic to pass under the bridge.
