Police Looking For Suspect In Business Burglaries

Port Orange, FL - Port Orange, Edgewater and New Smyrna Beach police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect in a number of business burglaries.

The Port Orange Police Department says that five burglaries took place early Tuesday morning (March 5th).

Four of the Port Orange businesses are on Dunlawton Avenue: Daily Grind Burgers, Legends Nail Bar, Monterey Grill and Moe's Southwest Grill. The fifth, a Marathon gas station, is on Taylor and Summer Trees roads.

Edgewater PD and New Smyrna Beach PD say they each had one burglary but both businesses were located near I-95.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 30 years old with a beard. He was wearing a black button-down shirt, black pants, black shoes, Atlanta Falcons hat, with a gray glove on the left hand and a black glove on the right.

The suspect vehicle appears to be a dark-colored newer model Chevy Malibu, according to POPD.
