Deltona, FL - Just a week after his first arrest, a man who impersonated a law enforcement officer is jailed again after reports of other incidents arise.

Last Tuesday (March 19th), 64-year-old Thomas Farmer was arrested by the Volusia County Sheriff's Office after he tried to conduct traffic stops in a modified pickup truck to "influence traffic."

However, after announcing his arrest on their Facebook page, VCSO began to receive other reports from people who had viewed their post.

Those viewers said they had recognized Farmer as well as the vehicle he used to make the stops.

VCSO then interviewed three male residents who all had similar stories about Farmer. Those incidents date back to the spring of 2017 and the spring and fall of 2018.

Farmer was re-arrested at his home earlier today (March 25th). Records show he's currently in custody at Volusia County Jail on $10,000 bond.
