Judge: More Time To Decide Trial Location For Volusia Man Accused Of Triple Murder

Posted

Volusia County, FL - A judge ruled on Friday that he needs more time to decide whether to move the trial location of a Volusia County man accused of killing his wife and her two kids in 2013. Luis Toledo faces the death penalty for the alleged triple murder. Toledo's wife, Yessenia Suarez, and her two children disappeared from their Deltona home in October 2013, and their bodies have not been found. Judge Raul Zambrano says Toledo's rumored confession will not be brought up at trial since neither the prosecution nor the defense believes Toledo's confession to be credible. Zambrano will decide whether to move the trial and whether to sequester the jury from St. Johns County to Volusia County at an undetermined date. For more on this story, go to WFTV Channel 9.
