Volusia County, FL-A motion asking for visitation between Ebony Wilkerson and her children was denied by a judge today. In making the ruling, the judge asked the defense for a detailed plan for visitation to be supervised by a professional. Wilkerson said in court that she knows there is a process and that she loves her kids. She is the woman who drove a van with her kids inside it into the ocean in Daytona Beach in 2014.
An official from the care center where Wilkerson is being treated testified that contact with her children would be beneficial. Wilkerson said she is not giving up and that she needs her babies and her babies need her. The judge agreed but said she was not comfortable without a detailed plan in place.
