group with cellphones Volusia County, FL-Deputies say a thief who tried to steal an iPhone had the whole thing unravel when the phone rang in his pocket. Kristine Schoenbeck and Gary Schinner were riding bikes on the County Bike Trail Friday and stopped to rest on a bench in the area of 50 Bethel Loop. Shortly after they rode away, Schoenbeck realized she had left her iPhone on the bench. The couple returned but the phone was gone. A man nearby told them he had seen a Hispanic male near the bench and said the man had walked away westbound. The couple caught up to 50-year-old Julio Concepcion on the bike path and asked him if he had the phone. He said he didn't. That's when Schinner called the phone and it rang in the man's pocket. Concepcion returned the phone and walked away. He was located shortly after that and arrested by deputies. He's charged with grand theft.
