DeLand, FL - An interactive map is now available for Volusia County residents who want to know what city and county projects in their area will benefit from the proposed sales tax increase to be voted on next month.
The map allows users to enter their address in the search bar and find the details of all projects within a five-mile radius.
You can view the map and find a list of upcoming public information meetings on the county website, volusia.org.
Ballots for the special election go in the mail on May 1. They need to be returned in the postage-paid envelope or delivered to the Supervisor of Elections office in DeLand by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21.
This election is a vote-by-mail only. There will be no polling places open.
