Port Orange, FL – Expect lane closures on Dunlawton as parts of the I-95 bridge are demolished.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced that there will be east and westbound double lane closures on Dunlawton under the I-95 overpass in Port Orange.

I-95 traffic won’t be affected.

The lane closures will happen overnight from 8 PM to 7 AM on Thursday and Friday, March 31 and April 1 so that workers can prep bridge sections for removal.

There will also be overnight lane closures from 8 PM to 7 AM on Sunday and Monday, April 3 and 4 as those bridge sections are removed.

According to Jennifer Horton, FDOT Public Information Specialist, “this is the last section of I-95 in Florida that’s going to be widened from 4 lanes to 6 lanes.”

Schedules are subject to change.
