Humane Society Seeks Information About Dog Covered In Acid Burns

Posted

Daytona Beach, FL - The Halifax Humane Society is asking for information about the mistreatment of a dog that they received on Friday that is covered in acid burns.

Triumph, a 3-year-old Carolina/mix breed dog, was brought to HHS on February 9. He has acid burns on the left side of his body and on his head. HHS's veterinarian staff have performed several treatments on Triumph, and he's now on the adoption floor and ready to find his forever home.

The HHS doesn't know how Triumph was burned, but they're asking anyone with information to contact them or the Daytona Beach Police Department.
