Holly Hill Shooting Suspect And His Girlfriend Arrested In Traffic Stop

holly-hill-police Holly Hill, FL - A man and his girlfriend were arrested in Port Orange on Sunday morning in connection to a shooting that happened in Holly Hill on Saturday night. Holly Hill Police officers were called to 600 S Flamingo Ave in Holly Hill at around 9:15 PM on Saturday night where they found a 40-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his left leg. He told officers that he knew the suspected shooter,  27-year-old James Rainville, who fled the scene before police got there. The victim was transported to the hospital for further treatment. With help from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office and the Port Orange Police Department, Rainville was arrested during a traffic stop on Nova Rd at 7:19 on Sunday morning near the POPD.Rainville's girlfriend, 36-year-old Angela Toole, was also arrested as an accessory to Friday's shooting because she drove him away from the scene. Both Rainville and Toole have spoken with investigators and implicated themselves in the shooting. rainville
