Holly Hill Police Search For Three Armed Carjacking Suspects

Holly Hill, FL - An armed carjacking occurred Wednesday night at the intersection of Carswell Avenue and 2nd Street in Holly Hill, according to the Holly Hill Police Department.

Police were dispatched at 11:09 p.m. after three armed black men confronted a victim who was stopped at the intersection. The suspects demanded the victim's valuables, and one struck the victim with a handgun. The suspects fled westbound on Brentwood Ave after the victim exited his vehicle.

The victim did seek medical assistance for his injuries, and the vehicle has since been recovered at 337 Pleasant Street in Daytona Beach.

There is an ongoing investigation into the identity of the suspects. More information will be released if the subjects are positively identified.

The suspects are described as three black males wearing all black, all between 22-24 years of age, all about 5'8", according to the police report.

  • One suspect was about 180 pounds with short dreadlocks and appeared to be carrying a semiautomatic handgun.
  • Another suspect, about 140 pounds, had shoulder length dreadlocks and had what appeared to be a silver revolver.
  • The third suspect, about 160 pounds, was carrying what appeared to be a black semiautomatic handgun.
