Miami, FL - Around a month after authorities made a public plea for tips, a Holly Hill man wanted for sexually abusing his granddaughter repeatedly is captured in South Florida.

The United States Marshal's Service nabbed 63-year-old Audran Butler late this morning in Miami, according to Holly Hill Police Department Chief Stephen Aldrich.

"Audran Butler was the featured subject of [a] combined press release that [Volusia County] Sheriff [Mike] Chitwood and I did last month when the Sheriff was able to secure additional reward funds leading to [an] arrest," Aldrich added.

No details are available at this point as to how Butler was captured, but Aldrich did note that no one's stepped forward yet to claim the $5,000 reward offered by the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

Butler is facing numerous charges, including sexual battery on a person less than 12 years of age, lewd and lascivious battery on a person between the ages of 12 and 16 and showing obscene material to a minor.

It's not clear at this point when he'll be extradited to Volusia County.
