Daytona Beach, FL-In a workshop Tuesday, Lori Campbell Baker was named the interim CEO of the Daytona Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Halifax Area Advertising Authority board voted unanimously to offer Baker the chance to lead the Daytona Beach area's primary tourism promotion organization. Budget workshops and market plans for the next fiscal year are coming up soon so the board also voted unanimously to appoint Baker - now the bureau's public relations director - to the post of interim director, effective on Monday.
