Prins Guilty In Murder Of Girlfriend & Tossing Her Body Into The Halifax

jail prison interior Daytona Beach, FL-The jury trial for a man accused of beating, strangling and throwing Crystal Pifer in the Halifax River last August ended today.  The jury found Thomas Prins guilty of murder in the first degree. The jury listened to 9-1-1 calls made the night of the murder before coming to their verdict. After almost six hours of deliberations, the jury found Prins guilty of murder in the first-degree. Prins fainted after the verdict was read. He was taken to the hospital for observation. The judge delayed sentencing. Crystal Pifer
