Orange County, FL-Governor Rick Scott met the media in Orange County today to announce that Miami-Dade has four Zika cases that were contracted in Florida via a bite from the pest. None of those cases is in Central Florida. Scott and state officials urged residents to take steps to protect themselves with mosquito repellent when outdoors and take steps to reduce places where mosquitoes can breed. Suggestions include dumping standing water in places like boats, bird baths, tarps and plant containers where water can collect and stand.   2016 Southern Stone Communications Copyright
