Flagler County, FL - The Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) has issued a warning for visitors to its website. A Google search for the FCSO may lead to an inappropriate website.
According to the FCSO, Jarrod Shupe, Flagler County Director of Information Technology, is in contact with Google and they are working to repair the issue, hopefully soon. Clicking on the link from a Google search could lead to the download of a virus or other malicious software.
The Flagler Sheriff’s website has not been hacked. This appears to be a Google issue only. If the search is done through Yahoo.com, Bing.com, or any other search engine, the correct site will display.
