Palm Coast, FL-Monday in Palm Coast saw something unusual even by FL standards, as an alligator was spotted using a crosswalk. The gator was spotted Monday around 9:20 AM in bushes near the intersection of Parkway and Cypress Edge Drive in Palm Coast. Flagler County Sheriff's Office Cpl. Kenny Goncalves (on the left in the photo) said the gator was more than 5 feet long. It was sitting by a crosswalk and the suddenly crossed the roadway. Goncalves and Deputy Jonathan Duenas stopped traffic while the gator crossed. An FWC trapper had been called but, before he could get there, the gator returned to a wooded lot and back to his natural habitat. The trapper call was canceled. “He just walked in the crosswalk like it was normal,” Goncalves said.   Photo by FCSO   2016 Southern Stone Communications Copyright
