Volusia County, FL-FWC staff released four options today on how best to move forward with controlling Florida’s growing bear population. The options range from holding a hunt identical to last year to no bear hunt at all.

The staff is recommending a more conservative hunt for 2016. Floridians can find out more about the options on the FWC website and also give feedback on each option. The FWC Commission will consider the options, input and staff recommendations at their next meeting.
