Funeral Service For Air Force Lt. From Ormond Beach To Be Held At Embry-Riddle

Daytona Beach, FL – The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) accompanied 1st Lt. Frederick Drew Dellecker back to his home on Wednesday following a plane crash that killed him and two other airmen, Capt. Andrew Becker and Capt. Kenneth Dalga.

The crash occurred during a training session near Cannon Air Force base in New Mexico. Dellecker, an Ormond Beach native, was 26 years old. He was a Seabreeze High School and Air Force Academy graduate. He was a part of the 318th Special Operations Squadron.

A local funeral service will be held on Friday at 2 PM in Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s ICI Center before he is laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
