Flagler County, FL - Update: FCSO now says it appears a child's story of a man taking photos and video of children at a Palm Coast school bus stop was just that, a story. A release from FCSO today says deputies believe it "didn't happen." Authorities are quick to say anything suspicious should always be reported. Earlier reporting follows: Deputies in Flagler County are on alert after a 10-year-old girl told them she has spotted a man taking photos and video of her and other children at a school bus stop in Palm Coast. The girl told them it happened at the intersection of Forest Hill Drive and Friar Way. She spotted the silver sport utility two times. First, she saw it on Friday, September 9 and then on Monday, September 12. Both times she said the vehicle followed her to the bus stop and then the driver took video and photos. She says she saw a flash go off in the vehicle. The man has not approached her or spoken to anyone at the bus stop. She told deputies his pattern is to follow the bus to Old Kings Elementary School. The girl told her parents who got in touch with the Sheriff's office. The vehicle is a silver SUV – unknown make or model. The SUV has a Hillary Clinton sticker in the back window. The driver is a dark-skinned male, possibly African American. He is about 20 years old and may be covering his face. "We are very interested in finding this man to interview him and find out what he has been doing and why," said Laura Williams, Public Information Officer for FCSO. "We want to emphasize that we don't know that he has committed any crime. He could be doing something very legitimate, but it's very concerning... his activities." If you have any information about this man, please call the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office at 386-313-4911. 2016 Southern Stone Communications Copyright
