Palm Coast, FL -  With the help of an anonymous tip, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) Special Investigations Unit was able to locate an outdoors marijuana grow operation.

The grow-op could be seen clearly in the backyard of a Palm Coast home, 83 Patric Drive. FCSO detectives executed a search warrant on the property at 5:15 PM on May 17.

50 plants were found and taken from the backyard and the estimated combined value of all of the plants is valued at $57,400. That's according to the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force.

"It’s time drug dealers get the message. Get your drugs out of Flagler County because we are coming after you," says Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly.  “This was a great joint effort between the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement HIDTA Narcotics Task Force.”

Charges are currently pending for the production of marijuana.
