Former VCSO Employee & Wife Face Additional Child Sex Charges

Volusia County, FL - A former Volusia County Sheriff's Office telecommunicator and his wife, who were arrested earlier this year for allegedly abusing a 7-year-old girl, are now facing additional charges after detectives learned that another child was victimized by the couple. Tyler Bush-Conn and Talisha Bush-Conn were already being held at the Volusia County Jail on numerous charges related to the sexual abuse of a 7-year-old girl, but now detectives say they've discovered another victim. During VCSO's investigation of the Bush-Conns, detectives determined that Tyler had abused a 4-year-old girl. Detectives say they found several images and a video showing Tyler Bush-Conn sexually abusing the girl on the couples' cell phones. He's now being charged with an additional count of sexual battery and a count of directing or promoting a sexual performance by a child. Detectives found the video on Talisha Bush-Conn's cell phone, so she's being charged with a count of possession of child pornography, on top of her previous charges. During the course of the investigation detectives also found 20 pornographic images of the original 7-year-old victim on Tyler Bush-Conn's cell phone. As a result, he's facing an additional 20 counts of directing or promoting a sexual performance by a child. For earlier reporting, click here.
