Flagler County, FL-The Washington State arrest of a former soccer coach in Flagler County on molestation charges has raised questions here about whether there are more local victims. The Flagler Sheriff's Office says U.S. Marshals arrested 35-year-old Sean Douglas Stern Thursday and charged him with two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation as an authority figure of a school. He was being held without bond in the Pierce County Jail in Tacoma. Stern is accused of molesting two male juvenile victims between the ages of 12 and 16 years old on multiple occasions at multiple locations between January 2015 and April 2016. Detectives started investigating Stern after he was fired from a Professional Sports Pathways, a Palm Coast soccer school. Stern moved to Seattle after leaving Flagler County in April. He has been a coach in several places locally. The Sheriff’s Office urges anyone whose male child participated in soccer programs with Stern to talk to their children and find out whether they have been victimized or who may have vital information about Stern. All information about Stern should be provided to FCSO Detective Fuentes at (386) 586-4890. Detectives are also seeking any information on Stern that the public may have. Callers can remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at (888) 277-8477 (TIPS).
