Orlando - This morning, the Orange County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) responded to the scene of a shooting at an Orlando business on Forsyth Road.

The OCSO has identified John Robert Neumann Jr., 45, as the shooter who killed five before ultimately killing himself Monday morning. The OCSO believes he acted as a result of his firing from the RV awning company, Fiamma, in April of this year. Sherrif Jerry Demings would not reveal the nature of his firing from the company.

Deputies arrived about 2 minutes after 911 was called. Neumann used a semi-automatic handgun and had a hunting knife on his person. The OCSO confirmed that Neumann did not have a concealed weapons permit.

There is believed to have been twelve people in the building at the time with at least eight witnesses. One temporary employee says Neumann approached her and told her to leave. According to Sheriff Demings, Neumann had a negative relationship with at least one of the victims.

All five of the victims have been identified as:

Robert Snyder, 59

Brenda Montanez-Crespo, 44

Kevin Clark, 53

Jeffery Roberts, 57

Kevin Lawson, 46

Neumann was an Army veteran, discharged honorably in 1999. Police were called to an incident that occurred at the business in 2014 where Neumann was a suspect in a battery.
